This is what Google search has learnt from Siri. So cool like a crow trying to wear peacock’s feathers.
For two weeks I didn’t sync mail and notes with iCloud because it wanted me to have a @me.com account. Who’d go through a hassle of opening a webpage with loads and loads of fields and annoying captchas to create yet another email address? But today I gained the courage to tap the “create” button because I had a few spare minutes, to my surprise my account was created in a single step with a single text field that was the email id itself, not even a password! Then I realized that I was dealing with an Apple.
It was so sophisticatedly simple that it couldn’t fit in a tweet, so this post.
Quick tribute sketch of Steve Jobs, in his youth, who we all know passed away yesterday due to an ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 56.
Probably because of the solitary nature of being a cartoonist, I always liked the idea of Jobs toiling away in his garage into the late hours of the night, hunched over a bulky hand-made device that will not only serve to change the world, but solitariness as well.
